PROBLEM SOLVED -- I do not know how or why, but I took the TV and theater seats back into inventory and then re-rezed it all. That appeared to do the trick, because everything appears to be working okay, now.

Strange, did you try other videos like youtube videos, im thinking it might be caused by lag/buffering from loading a DVD.
